Personal auto placed for a Plano household

Aulona Insurance Group places personal auto for Plano households, clean records and records carrying a ticket, an at-fault accident, a lapse or an SR-22 filing, on a recorded call with Luka Cenaj in English or Albanian.

Texas Transportation Code §601.072 fixes the liability minimum in Plano at 30/60/25, the same floor the state applies everywhere, and the Texas Auto Insurance page covers it with personal injury protection (PIP) under Texas Insurance Code §1952.152 and the uninsured motorist offer under Texas Insurance Code §1952.101.

Plano runs that floor across more than one vehicle in most driveways, which turns the comprehensive deductible into a multiplied number rather than a single one.

FEMA lists the City of Plano as National Flood Insurance Program community 480140, in the regular phase since January 2, 1980, and the Plano flood insurance rate map in force is dated November 21, 2024, the same revision date FEMA shows for Dallas.

Which county a Plano address rates in

Plano sits in two counties. Most of the city is in Collin County, and a western portion runs into Denton County, per the U.S. Census Bureau.

Texas Insurance Code §2253.001 stops an insurer that subdivides a county into rating territories from charging any subdivision more than 15 percent above another for identical coverage, and 28 TAC §5.9960 lets it exceed that only on a rate that is actuarially sound and supported by data filed with the Texas Department of Insurance.

A west Plano household near the Denton County line can therefore rate differently from a household off Coit Road, on the same make of car with the same record. The split shows up in property records too: the Collin Central Appraisal District and the Denton Central Appraisal District each appraise their own side of the city.

Give the address where the car sleeps.

Hail and the multi-vehicle Plano household

Hail is the Plano claim that liability coverage pays nothing toward. The National Weather Service Fort Worth/Dallas forecast office issues severe thunderstorm and hail warnings for Collin County and maintains a Collin County storm climatology, and NOAA’s Storm Events Database logs every one of those reports by county.

Hail damage is a comprehensive claim, so the comprehensive deductible is the number that decides what a Plano driver pays after a spring storm. Collision coverage does nothing for a dented roof.

Plano compounds the exposure, because one storm crosses a whole street of driveways at once. A household with three cars under the same hail cell files three claims and pays the comprehensive deductible three times.

One storm, several cars, several deductibles.

What Aulona Insurance Group places for Plano drivers

Aulona Insurance Group places personal auto for Plano households under Texas Agency License #3481412, for clean records and for records carrying tickets, at-fault accidents or a lapse, with the placement list on the Texas Auto Insurance page.

A Plano household usually lists more than one vehicle against more than one driver, teenage drivers on the parents’ policy included, and each vehicle carries its own deductible into a hail season.

Every Plano policy is placed with an insurer Aulona Insurance Group holds an appointment with, and Luka Cenaj, the agency’s licensed principal, walks through the coverage on a recorded call before anything binds.

Where Aulona Insurance Group is not the right fit

Aulona Insurance Group turns away a Plano vehicle at $150,000 or more in manufacturer’s suggested retail price, one built before 1981, one without a seventeen-digit VIN, a recreational vehicle, all-terrain vehicle, trailer, golf cart, bus, hearse or heavy truck, a storage-only or gap-only policy, and a post office box garaging address.

A non-owner policy is declined except a non-owner SR-22 for a listed driver.

A vehicle used for business, or titled to an LLC, corporation, partnership or trust, is not written on a personal auto policy. Aulona Insurance Group places it as commercial auto instead. See Commercial Auto Insurance in Texas.

What moves the price of a Plano auto policy

The premium on a Plano auto policy comes from the insurer, and Aulona Insurance Group publishes no figure for it and ranks no insurer on this site.

A Plano rate reads the record, the two deductibles, every vehicle in the driveway and the county territory behind the address:

  • The driving record, which moves house with the driver; a ticket, an at-fault accident or a gap keeps rating for years
  • Liability limits held above the 30/60/25 floor
  • The comprehensive deductible, which is the hail number, and the collision deductible, which is not
  • Each vehicle’s age, value, and repair cost, multiplied by however many sit in the driveway
  • Whether the garaging address falls on the Collin or the Denton County side

Collin County hail reaches a Plano rate through the territory filing, not through the driver’s record.

Working with Aulona Insurance Group from Plano

Aulona Insurance Group works from one office, in Plano, and serves Plano by phone. No visit is part of placing coverage.

Proximity changes nothing about how the work happens, because the placement runs remotely: eight questions here, about two minutes, then a one-time code texted to your mobile number.

Luka Cenaj calls to go through every vehicle, every driver in the household and the coverage the household needs, then takes the risk to the markets the agency holds. Nothing is quoted or bound before that call, and Plano drivers who prefer Albanian can have the whole conversation in Albanian.
